Challenger Troop wins High Sheriff Award

Challenger Troop CIC is delighted to announce that it is the proud recipient of a High Sheriff Award. At the prestigious annual High Sheriff Awards ceremony on 10th March at County Hall, Maidstone, organized in conjunction with the Kent Community Foundation, the High Sheriff William Alexander honoured Challenger Troop CIC, along with 8 other organisations, for benefitting their communities and dedicating their work to improving the lives of others.

“I was impressed by the professional community engagement initiatives being delivered by Challenger Troop,” said William Alexander. “When I met the young people who had completed your Tunbridge Wells programme, I witnessed at first-hand just how effective it had been in achieving positive results.”

In front of members of the Kent Community Foundation, Kent County Council, Medway Council and other local dignitaries, William Alexander awarded Challenger Troop with a framed certificate and an award of £300

“We are thrilled that we have been chosen for this prestigious award. Being recognized by the High Sheriff and the Kent Community Foundation for our work means a great deal to us,” said Simon Dean, Founder and CEO of Challenger Troop CIC, “we have been working to support the lives of young people in Kent since 2008 and we intend to continue to do so for many more years to come”.
