Challenger Troop attends Royal Garden Party

Simon Dean, Chief Executive and Founder of Challenger Troop CIC, was delighted to have been invited to attend the Royal Garden Party held at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday 10th June on the occasion of HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh’s 93rd birthday.

The Queen and the Duchess of Cambridge, along with other members of the Royal Family, received over 8,000 guests on a beautiful summer’s day.

Simon, accompanied by his wife Louise, thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and said, “I felt honoured to be invited and to be in the company of so many people from all walks of life, all making valuable contributions to our society. I felt proud to represent everyone we have helped since Challenger Troop started in 2007 and who continue to inspire us to keep doing what we do best – motivating young people to build their own futures”.
