Walking for Charity

A group of 8 students on our core 12-week programme, from Batchwood School, St Albans, undertook a sponsored 5K walk through Epping Forest on November 6th in order to raise money for their chosen charity Cancer Research.

Challenger Troop Team Leader Sgt Carroll said “They really took to this challenge, it was wet, muddy and but that did not deter them, in fact there was a lot of jumping in muddy puddles! They really enjoyed themselves.”

The final amount raised will be confirmed at the Awards ceremony in a few weeks time.
