Mayor makes Challenger Troop her charity of the year

The Mayor of Swale, Cllr Sarah Stevens has made Challenger Troop her charity of the year.

We are also delighted that one of our students; Lauren has also been appointed as Challenger Troop Ambassador to escort the Mayor on official duties. Lauren will accompany the Mayor of Swale on her official duties where appropriate. Lauren is an exceptional young lady who has overcome and adversity at school.

She has been an exceptional student at Challenger Troop since she joined the programme in Jan 2023. Lauren has been supporting other students on the programme as a mentor and been working in with our Core Team in a supportive logistical role too.
