Leading KCC Cabinet Member visits Challenger Troop

We were delighted to welcome Cllr Roger Gough, Kent County Council Cabinet Member for Education and Health Reform, to Challenger Troop this afternoon to hear about our work with schools and community groups across Kent. He was also guest of honour at an awards ceremony where he heard about the achievements of some of our youngest participants who are on a bespoke KS1 & 2 intensive programme supporting their reintegration into mainstream school.

After presenting some of the certificates of achievement Cllr Gough addressed the audience, emphasizing how proud he was of the young people and all they had achieved, and how pleased he was to see so much support from parents and schools present at the ceremony.”

Simon Dean, founder and CEO of Challenger Troop, said “ We were delighted to welcome Cllr Gough here this afternoon to showcase our work. At Challenger Troop we are committed to helping every child who needs our support.”
