Challenger Troop attends Royal Garden Party

Simon Dean, Chief Executive and Founder of Challenger Troop CIC, was delighted to have been invited to attend the Royal Garden Party held at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday 20th May as mark of thanks for our work with children and young people. The Queen, accompanied by HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh received over 8,000 guests on a beautiful summer’s day.

Simon, accompanied by Islay O’Hara, National Project Development Manager with Challenger Troop, thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and said, “I felt honoured to have been invited and to be in the company of so many people from all walks of life, all making valuable contributions to society. I was proud to represent everyone we have helped since Challenger Troop started in 2007 and who continue to inspire us to keep doing what we do best – motivating young people to build their own futures”.
