Four Tough Mudders
Challenger Troop instructors Scott, Ross, Lee and Matt successfully completed the 2014 West London Tough Mudder® event at Culden Faw, near Henley on Thames. Described as a “hardcore 10-12 mile obstacle course designed by special forces to test your all-round strength, stamina, determination and camaraderie”.
The team faced a gruelling 12-mile slog up and down hills, though muddy fields and thick woodland. They took-on 20 gruelling obstacles, which included being plunged into ice-cold water, hauling themselves over 12-foot high walls, crawling through underground tunnels, swinging on metal ropes and being zapped with electric shocks to name but a few. Between them they are aiming to raise £1,000 for Help for Heroes, with their donation page remaining open until Wednesday, April 30th (see link below).
Please use the donation link to show your support for the team and help them to reach their target. Help for Heroes provides combat stress recovery programmes, adaptive sports programmes, benefits counselling and employment services that aid in their soldiers’ transition to civilian life.
