Broomhill Bank Core Programme Makes a Splash at Adams Well!
Broomhill Bank’s core program took a thrilling turn this week as pupils ventured beyond the forest at Bedgebury and down to the river at Adams Well. Having mastered their navigation skills amongst the trees, these intrepid explorers faced a new challenge: simulating a water rescue.
This crucial life skill involved working together to safely extract a casualty from the water. The activity demanded not only physical exertion but also exceptional teamwork and problem-solving abilities. Broomhill Bank’s program is designed to push students outside their comfort zones, fostering resilience, critical thinking, and a strong sense of camaraderie.
“This was yet another challenging and rewarding activity for our pupils,” a spokesperson for Challenger Troop remarked. “By combining physical exertion with practical life skills, we equip the students with the confidence and ability to tackle any obstacle.”
Congratulations to the Broomhill Bank pupils for their successful river rescue training! We look forward to hearing about their future adventures!
